I've been talking to people individually and I think we could potentially have 5 for this, but I figured I should make a post here to get organized about it and see if we actually do have 5

What to bring:

* LAN Party
o computer with network card
o monitor (Note: monitors larger than 24" require purchasing 2 seats)
o power cables
o 25' long Ethernet Cable (Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6)
o headphones (No speakers allowed)
o software
+ game CDs
+ Windows CDs
+ drivers
o sleeping bag/pillow if you plan on sleeping on the floor...
o money for food and hotel if you plan on it
o snacks

Age Limit: Photo ID Required

General Rules:

Note: Rules are posted at each event. Anyone caught violating any of the rules will be ejected from the event without refund and may not be able to participate in future events at our discretion.

* Drugs and Alcohol are strictly prohibited.
o Bags & coolers may be inspected.
* Smoking indoors is prohibited. Outside doors shall remain closed. Cigarettes must be disposed of properly.
* Please use the main doors to the room. The other doors are for emergencies only.
* No cheating on public servers.
* No "hacking".
* Using other attendees' equipment without their permission is prohibited.
* We advise all attendees to run up-to-date antivirus software. If you believe your PC has been infected with a virus of any kind, you must immediately disconnect the PC from the network. If network administrators discover your machine is infected, you will be disconnected from the network until the issue is resolved.
* Expect people to download files from any directory you have shared. If you don't like this, don't share directories. We recommend using FTP for any file transfer needs. MPCon does not permit or condone any type of illegal activity.
* Attendees are responsible for keeping their area clean.
* If you have any questions or concerns, please ask an MPCon or or an EMU Student Center staff member. For emergencies, contact Campus Safety or call 911.

If I went to this I would have to know super early that we were actually going so that I could save some money, starting now. More than likely it would be a part of a larger trip for me where I would go visit my aunt, uncle, and cousins in Illinois with my mother and then drive to Detroit from there and then back to Illinois.

I would probably want my own room too or with one roommate in case you guys want to do any "extra-curricular" activities in your own room. lol
